RM of Saltcoats’s story
The Rural Municipality of Saltcoats No. 213 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 9, 1912. It lies in the east-central part of Saskatchewan.
Two towns, Bredenbury and Saltcoats, sit within its boundaries, and the RM also neighbours the Little Bone 74B First Nations reserve. The RM office is in Saltcoats, where an elected council and an appointed administrator carry on the municipality's business, meeting on the second Tuesday of each month.
